Blue Berries
Blueberries are also considered to help the body form dopamine, which is essential for well-functioning memory and coordination. One study shows that 1¼ dl of blueberries (corresponding to about 1 tbsp of blueberry powder) per day can restore memory and coordination.
Black currants are packed with antioxidants, vitamins (very high in vitamin C) and minerals. The dark shade comes from antioxidant anthocyanins and carotenes. Anthocyanins are believed to be able to prevent many diseases. In particular, they are believed to be protective of the eyes, brain and prevent cardiovascular disease.
Aronia is rich in vitamins B, C and E as well as minerals. It contains large amounts of beneficial antioxidants that boost the immune system.
