Raw gingerbread balls

Ingredients:

Nordic Superfood - RED Berry Powder

1 dl Cashewnuts

1 dl Hazelnuts (Almonds work too!)

1 dl Oats

10 Dates

1 tsp Blackstrap Melass (or Maple Syrup)

1 msk Ghee/Butter

1 tsp Cinnamon

1/2 tsp Vanilla powder

1 ml Ginger

1 ml Carnation

1 ml Cardamom

2 tbsp Cocoa paste (You can also use Cocoa Nibs or Dark Chocolate)

A pinch of salt


How to do it:

Place the dates in a bowl, pour hot water in and let sit for a few minutes. Pull away the skin of the dates and remove the core. Mix the nuts, oats and spices to a fine flour. Add the dates, blackstrap melass, ghee butter and mix. Add the cocoa paste, and mix with a fork for a crunch feeling! Form to 12-15 balls, roll in our berry powder. Enjoy!
